Epoxy Aftercare
The epoxy fully hardness within 48 hours of installation, but it will continue to cure for up to a month. Use the counter lightly, and do not put sharp heavy objects and appliances directly onto the top for the first 25-30 days. Ideal epoxy curing temperatures are between 70F to 85F. Keep in mind that if temperature in your room is cooler, then curing times may take longer.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper maintenance and cleaning are essential to the longevity of your epoxy resin countertop.
Because of the high gloss surface it is important to find a cleaner that doesn’t leave residue behind on the surface. The majority of natural household cleaners, Windex, or simply mild dish soap and water will do the job, however we recommend experimenting to find the cleaner that is the perfect fit for your home. Please do not clean your epoxy countertop with abrasive cleaners, scrubbing pads or polishes.
